Sign Booklets

In response to many requests, we have translated several of the Usborne books we use.  For more information on the Usborne books we have available see our information below.  We've also created our own information booklets related to using signs with children.  We've made our booklets simple, appealing, and 'user-friendly', adapting and gearing them to our families' specific needs and interests. Going a step further than most typical sign books, our booklets offer more than merely a picture of the sign and a one sentence description.  We've included anecdotes, short commentaries, and helpful suggestions.

We often combine a booklet with another booklet, book, pocket-sized S.E.E. sign dictionary, or other learning material to make up one of our popular Storybook packets.  Contents vary depending on age and class.  You may wish to refer to a specific classes to see which booklet/packet is available.

Usborne Books

We believe in quality literature, which is why we are a vendor for Usborne books.  We like them so much, we use them in our daily curriculum!  Come in for a copy of the catalog or to pick up a book in stock.  We have many on hand, so you can have them now!  You may also visit the Storybook Center's Usborne web site, where every purchase you make helps us receive books to keep our groups' library expanding. If you are interested in any of our materials, please send an email request to info@thestorybookcenter.com.  Please provide your complete mailing address and daytime phone number along with the title of the booklet or packet you are interested in, and we will add you to our reserve list.  You will be contacted when it is ready to be mailed so that payment can be made. Costs of the booklets and packets vary slightly, but are reasonably priced.   We can mail them anywhere there is a mailbox.  Contact us for more information.
