Resources and Links

he Storybook Center believes the most important teachers children will ever have are their parents and  family.  Sometimes parents need help to provide their children with the opportunity to reach their full potential.  On this page we will be posting suggestions, websites, and other resources we feel will support and enhance parents' efforts with their children.

Sometimes the best 'resource' is right in front of our faces.  Our Storybook Center parents are a friendly, outgoing 'family', quick to provide assistance, open and generous with one another, and empathetic and  supportive.  Each one of them is a good friend - and a very good resource - to turn to when the need arises.

Our Storybook newsletter is another good resource for information.  Our Picks and Pans section highlights places and/or things other parents recommend be tried or avoided.  It also usually has at least one article on child behavior, and, more recently, offers favored, proven child-friendly recipes.

Storybook parents interested in learning more about how to deal with their children have access to our parent Resources Library located in the reception area. Books and DVDs may be checked out at no cost to current families.
