dult sign classes are fun and informative!  Learn a new skill, practice and enhance your current sign vocabulary, build communication skills, refresh your English skills, and become better at expressing yourself.   

Our adult classes are intended for anyone 16 years or older.  Classes are offered in 6-week sessions weeknights or Saturdays for 90 minutes, depending on interest. If you are interested, please be sure to mention your preference for night or weekend classes on your registration.  Sign up now!

Classes are dynamic and include active participation, taking you beyond individual signs to signing phrases, sentences, paragraphs, songs, and  simple books . You will also practice finger spelling so that you can communicate any word you want, even if you don't know the sign for it.

Our curriculum was developed from the one used by the creator of Signing Exact English, which is the same curriculum that many colleges, universities and workshops use.  Signing Questions.

At your first class your Storybook materials packet will provide you with a workbook that coincides with the lessons, as well as a pocket-size edition of the Signing Exact English (S.E.E.) dictionary.

Note: If you enroll in these sessions and attend the first class but miss the second and/or third (last), you may take the missed classes at no additional cost the next time they are offered.
